I’ve been sewing for over 20 years, and it all started when I was young, learning from my mom. I began with hand sewing and later moved to a machine through my 4-H sewing projects. Over the years, I’ve made everything from duffle bags and pillowcases to quilts and outfits. I’ve always loved turning ideas into something real, especially when I get to mix and match fabrics for home decor or baby collections. Handmade items have a special place in my heart, especially when it comes to baby showers.

Crochet came into my life a little differently. I’ve been told my mom taught me when I was younger, but I only remember making long chains. I really picked it up about six years ago during COVID, starting with dish scrubbies made from tulle. Not long after, I found my favorite scrubby yarn at Hobby Lobby and kept going. A couple of years later, I started making coasters, and in 2023, I discovered how much I love making plushies.

Since then, crochet has become another big part of my life, like sewing, and I enjoy every chance I get to create something new.
